Local martial artists excel in competition

Three students represented Lion’s Pride Martial Arts at the Elite Martial Arts Elizabethtown Championship held in Elizabethtown on June 12. The competitors earned first place in each of their competitions. This feat is particularly impressive because this is one of the first in-person competitions that Lion’s Pride has participated in since March 2020.
The competitors are Landon Fortner (1st in forms and 1st in weapons), Kristiana Finfrock (1st in forms and 1st in sparring), and Master Brian Nutter (1st in forms and 1st in weapons, black belt division). Brian Nutter is the owner and master instructor at Lion’s Pride Martial Arts.
