CCHC Executive Director Terry Davidson said the race raised nearly $14,000 for the Coalition.

“We had a great turnout and I think everyone had lots of fun,” Davidson said. “We can’t thank the Beer Cheese Festival Committee and the Big Cheesy committee enough for making it happen.”

The race’s presenting sponsor was the Knights of Columbus. Other sponsors included Don Señor, Ale-8-One, Scobee Funeral Home and WinFirst Bank.

“We are very excited and already looking forward to a bigger and better next year,” Davidson said.
